Community housing provides support to help low- and moderate-income older adult residents live as independently as possible. On-site services may include meals, housekeeping, medication management, and limited personal assistance with activities such as bathing, dressing, and laundry.
Rental Assistance Voucher Program
Housing Choice Voucher Program provides rental subsidies in the form of vouchers to eligible families or individuals to use toward housing payments.
Energy Assistance
Energy assistance programs can provide utility bill assistance to low-income households to make your energy costs more affordable and help prevent a loss of service. Some programs can also help restore home energy services.
Home Repair Financing Programs
Home repair programs can improve the comfort, safety, and accessibility of single-family homes of eligible homeowners through grants and loans to finance rehabilitation and renovation. Some programs are also available to eligible owners of multi-unit rental properties.
Energy Upgrade Programs
Whole Home Energy and Repairs programs help eligible participants make critical upgrades and enhancements that can lower utility bills and make their homes safer to live in.
Rental Assistance for People with Disabilities
Rental assistance programs for eligible low-income adults age 18-62 with disabilities can help you live independently through rental payment assistance in participating units. Supports and additional services are also available.
Nursing Homes
Nursing homes offer 24-hour nursing care and assistance for people with complex medical needs who cannot live independently.
